Step by Step Childhood Play Group is a volunteer, non-profit organization founded in 1992 for the purpose of providing education and activities for families with children. We are affiliated with the Illinois and National PTA, but are not affiliated with any one particular school. Last year, over 100 members from the community were involved in our activities and special events. Our members come largely from Northwest Du Page County, Illinois including but not limited to Carol Stream, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, West Chicago, Glendale Heights, Wheaton, St. Charles and Geneva. As parents we are looking for ways to help enrich the lives of our children. Step by Step helps parents reach this goal through fun, educational and social activities.
Activities and programs include:
- A monthly newsletter containing information on Step by Step activities, area events, group fieldtrips, educational programs for parents and children, playgroups, and family parties,
- Parent and child education programs
Membership for the 2011-2012 year runs from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, however individuals can join at any time during the year! Membership dues are $20.00 a year and include lots of exciting field trips, parties, specials events and more!
Members, please feel free to print out membership informational flyers in its one-page format or 4-up format and hand them out to your family and friends who may be interested.
